Rongqian Ma is an assistant professor at the Department of Information and Library Science of the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering. Her research integrates digital humanities, digital curation, information visualization, and science and technology studies. More specifically, her work examines visual representations and visual technologies in the contexts of humanities research and digital archives. Rongqian received her Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 2022. She also holds an MLIS, an M.A. in East Asian Studies, and a B.A. in Chinese Classics and Literature.
