Become an Undergraduate Ambassador

Luddy undergraduate ambassadors talk to high school students and parents about our degrees, career options, and Luddy student life opportunities. By becoming an Ambassador, you’ll build your leadership, presentation, and communication skills, add to your resume, network with students and employers, and provide a service to both prospective students and to Luddy!

Graduate Ambassadors

Graduate Ambassadors provide support to prospective and incoming students by sharing useful resources and their valuable experiences both in and outside of the classroom.     • Pallabi is a Ph.D. student in Informatics. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from India and pursued Master’s Degree in Informatics from Technical University of Munich, Germany. She worked as a Developer in Wipro and Intel before joining Indiana University. On a personal front, she loves to travel, experience different culture, and has thoroughly enjoyed her journeys to more than 20 countries across 3 continents.

    • Sabid is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science. He works on improving the privacy of the internet of things (IoT) with Dr. Apu Kapadia in the IU Privacy Lab. Sabid is enthusiastic about making friends from diverse cultures, traveling places, taking photos, and playing sports such as cricket and table tennis. Sabid grew up in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and completed his undergrad at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.

    • Vikrant is a Master student in the Data Science program. His hometown is Pune, back in India, and he has 3.5 years of workex at Deloitte USI as a Consultant/ Data Science Engineer. At IU, he’s working at the CNS center since his first semester, researching on single-cell RNA sequencing methodologies from a data perspective, Machine Learning, and Statistical proofs. He'll also be interning during his Summer to forecast revenue via Time series analysis. Intensive coursework here at IU has been thoroughly rewarding- Machine Learning under Prof. Khardon, ML for signal processing under Prof. Kim, Exploratory Data analysis under Prof. Fukuyama, Applied Distributed Systems, etc

He is one of the associate instructors for one of the intro classes for the Luddy undergraduate computer science class. She holds an Undergraduate degree in Architecture and hopes to become a transdisciplinary designer. In his free time, he likes to socialize, play FIFA, and binge-watch.
