Community Engaged Learning (CEL) integrates classroom instruction with real-world impact. Students apply course concepts to real-world challenges, working in partnership with nonprofit organizations to co-create solutions that address community needs.
CEL is an experiential approach grounded in socio-cultural learning theory, and promotes active, reflective learning through hands-on engagement. Students develop professional identities, build networks, and strengthen problem-solving and critical thinking skills in authentic contexts.
CEL prepares students not just for jobs, but for leadership in shaping tomorrow's solutions.
