Luddy’s B.S. in Robotics is a cross-departmental degree program that draws on the breadth and depth of expertise across the Computer Science, Informatics, and Intelligent Systems Engineering departments within the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering.
The program integrates strengths in artificial intelligence, human–computer interaction, systems engineering, and robotics hardware, ensuring students gain a balanced foundation in both the theoretical principles and hands-on practices of robotics. This interdisciplinary approach prepares students to design, build, and deploy intelligent robotic systems capable of operating in complex real-world environments.
Graduates will be well-equipped not only for roles in industry—such as robotics, automation, aerospace, manufacturing, and healthcare—but also for pursuing advanced research and innovation that pushes the boundaries of what autonomous systems can achieve.
