Graduate Ambassadors provide support to prospective and incoming students by sharing useful resources and their valuable experiences both in and outside of the classroom. They are enthusiastic Luddy Graduate students with the passion to help other students find their niche within Luddy, and transition to their life at IU and Bloomington.
By becoming an Ambassador, you can demonstrate leadership and service at a Big 10 University, build your communication skills, add to your resume, network with students and employers, and give back to your school.

Pallabi is a Ph.D. student in Informatics. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from India and pursued Master’s Degree in Informatics from Technical University of Munich, Germany. She worked as a Developer in Wipro and Intel before joining Indiana University. On a personal front, she loves to travel, experience different culture, and has thoroughly enjoyed her journeys to more than 20 countries across 3 continents.
Sabid is a Ph.D. student in Computer Science. He works on improving the privacy of the internet of things (IoT) with Dr. Apu Kapadia in the IU Privacy Lab. Sabid is enthusiastic about making friends from diverse cultures, traveling places, taking photos, and playing sports such as cricket and table tennis. Sabid grew up in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and completed his undergrad at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.
Laura is completing her first year as a master’s student in the Library Sciences program specializing in Data Science. She received her Undergraduate degree in Sociology and worked in clinical research for a couple years before joining the MLS program. In her free time, she enjoys reading science fiction and foraging for mushrooms!
Larry is a PhD student in Computer Science. He works with Dr. David Leake in research on Case-Based Reasoning. He is one of the associate instructors for one of the intro classes for the Luddy undergraduate computer science class. His PhD Minor was in Instructional Systems Technology (through the Education School). Larry grew up in Indianapolis and completed his undergraduate at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
Ambarish Gurjar is a PhD. Student at Intelligent Systems Engineering Department. He is from Mumbai, India with a background in Computer Engineering. Before coming to Indiana University he deployed projects that use Deep learning methodologies to help grape farmers in India and assist persons with visual impairment.
