ENGR-E 551 SIMULATING NANOSCALE SYSTEMS (3 CR.)
Students will learn how to model and simulate material behavior at the nanoscale. Analysis and control of shape, assembly, and flow behavior in soft nanomaterials will be discussed. Applications to engineering problems at the nanoscale will be emphasized. Optimization methods, nonequilibrium systems, and parallel computing will be covered.
