International documentation, as deemed irreplaceable by the Office of International Services, may be returned to a student on submission of a “Return of Irreplaceable Documentation” request form and the conferral of their degree or certificate. IU defines an irreplaceable document as a document that can only be issued once in a lifetime per person by a ministry of education (or other educational authority) or a document where another official copy cannot be obtained.
IU issued University Identification Number, is required.
Documents that are not claimed within 3 years of the last date of enrollment are securely destroyed.
