Want help paying for your international experience? Apply for this scholarship, which is open to undergraduates in any Luddy major. You can use it for any study abroad program offered through IU.
IU’s Office of Overseas Study has more information about funding study abroad, including other scholarships you can apply for.
To apply for the Study Abroad Scholarship, you should be an undergraduate student who has certified into Luddy.
A cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2 is recommended.
Even if you don’t meet the criteria, you should still apply—sometimes we make exceptions.
The application is available year-round. You should apply at least one semester before you plan to go abroad.
We’ll let you know if you’ve received the scholarship about two weeks after you apply.
Apply for the Study Abroad ScholarshipIf you receive the scholarship, you’ll be required to give a presentation, create a poster, and/or write a paper about your experience after you return.
