The Innovation Fellow Award recognizes an individual who is interested in connecting with the Luddy School to help cultivate the next generation of innovators and global leaders. Nominees should have demonstrated leadership and made a noteworthy and innovative contribution to the fields of computer science, informatics, information and library science, and/or engineering.
Eligibility
Nominees do not necessarily need to have graduated from a Luddy School program or IU.
All nominations will remain in consideration for the next award cycle, after which time they may be resubmitted.
If, in the opinion of either the Selection Committee or the Luddy Alumni Board, no worthy candidate is nominated in a given year, the award will not be presented that year.

For the purpose of judging nominations, a noteworthy contribution should include evidence of one or more of the following:
- Exceptional skills in their respective fields
- Important influence on the candidate’s place of employment, community, and profession
- Innovative or significant accomplishment in their profession
