Vikram Jadhao received his Ph.D. and M.S. in Physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and his B.S. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kharagpur. Following postdoctoral fellowships at Northwestern University and Johns Hopkins University, he joined the Department of Intelligent Systems Engineering at Indiana University in 2016. His current research interests are in nanoscale self-assembly, soft-matter simulation, polymer rheology, biomimetic materials, and machine learning. The central focus of his work is to reveal the underlying microscopic origins of observed macroscopic material behaviors in order to advance the design of soft materials for applications in nanomedicine, energy devices, and stretchable electronics. He is a recipient of an NSF CAREER award and the Indiana University Outstanding Junior Faculty award.
